Fall Fabric Clean up

So I decided that my sewing room needed a little pick me up. I don't know what got into me. Maybe it was the giant piles everywhere. Who knows. So I attacked the cupboard. I decided that maybe I could get rid of some fabric. If you are a hoarder you may not want to look.

So you see I got rid of a lot of fabric and hauled it right down to the humanitarian person in my ward. Man did I have some ugly fabric. I should have took some pics, but I was in a hurry to get rid of it. My cupboard looks so nice now and there is room for more fabric!!

Halloween

Oh how much I love Halloween! NOT! I used to be a Halloween lover, but then I had 5 kids. It is a lot of work to do Halloween for all 5.

On with Life

In my little world sometimes life changes. I am sure everyones does this. It seems like I am always looking forward to the next thing in line. For Example: I just had a baby. It seems like I waited for ever for her to get here. Then she got here and I had a break from regular life for a few weeks. Well, the break is over. Real life has started again. It is a little bit difficult finding my groove again. I hate that part. I like my groove and I don't like to figure out all the ins and outs of getting my kids where they need to go, when to go to work, and everything else that comes with being a mom. Hopefully, I will figure out all of this soon. My messy house is driving me nuts!

Ava

We are so excited and she is darling. She is a really good baby too. Especially considering that I have the flu. They even think it may be the swine flu. How sucky is that.
Everything went really well with her. Except for that 15 minutes when my epidural decided not to work on one side!
My other children love her. The first thing out of Coopers mouth is always where's Ava. Then he goes and checks on her. I thought he would not be happy about her, but he sure is. Hopefully I will be able to get a pic of her cute dimples soon.

Thanks to all the people that have helped so far!! I have really needed it this time.

Hooray for school!!

My oldest daughter went to Jr. High today. I can't believe she is old enough for that. Or maybe I don't want to believe that I am old enough for that. I cannot wait for Thursday when they are all in school. Its coming fast. Thank goodness. I love the structure it creates. I think my kids are wanting a schedule also. All of my kids will be gone, for at least part of the week anyway. Maybe I will have time to blog then. At least until our little #5 gets here at the first part of October.

NOOOOO WAY!!!!!

You should never have to go be a soccer mom in this crappy weather. You should especially not have to coach soccer in this crappy weather. I just needed to complain to someone thought you all could use a little whine with your dinner.

Desperation!!

So today I had to run to 2 different beauty supply stores. These stores are not for children. There are signs even. So in my desperation to keep my three monkeys happy I stopped by the Dairy Queen. I know what you are thinking. (She is Crazy) You are right. As the nice Dairy Queen lady was handing me out 3 of the giantist Small vanilla cones I had ever seen. I said "Oh my gosh I am nuts" the Dairy Queen lady must have thought so to as she handed me a giant stack of napkins. As I handed Monkey #3 his ice cream he totally freaked out. It was just too big for him. WHAT! An ice cream cone that is to big. Are you kidding me! I had to have the lady scoop half of it off before he would accept it. Sometimes I wonder what the heck is up with those kids.

So as I am driving I am trying really hard to not look into the back seat. I just knew what was going to happen. But after a few minutes I couldn't help it, I just had to look.

So who can tell me WHY oh WHY little children cannot eat their ice cream cone in a symmetrical way. Why oh Why do they only eat one side? This is one of those questions we mothers ask and I don't think we will ever know the answer.

Anyway the only one doing that was little monkey #3 and once I pointed out that he needed to eat the other side too he was fine. I am a proud mother to tell you that I only had a few little drops of ice cream in my car and Monkey #1 cleaned them right up. It was a historic day in the history of Ice Cream Eating.
