The things you can do with a Cracker!

Have you ever wondered what you could do with a cracker? I was thinking about saltines today as I was watching monkey #3 pack his package around the house with him. Its funny to me that I can buy all the different kinds of crackers in the world and my kids always go for the plain old saltine. I remembered that when I was a little girl I would eat these with butter on them. It was just so good. So next thing I know out comes the butter and guess what it is as good as I remember. Of course I am of the opinion anything is probably good as long as it has butter on it. But I was just wondering what else people like to eat on these crackers? That is if anyone ever checks my blog anymore since I haven't posted for what 2 months.

You are still alive!! I was wondering if the kids had tied you up in a closet or something...J/K. I make the best fake almond roca with crackers. It is so easy too, lay crackers together on a foiled cookie sheet boil 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar for 3 minutes, pour over crackers bake at 400 degrees for 7-8 minutes, then sprinkle 1 bag chocolate chips and slivered almonds on top. Refridgerate 1 hour then break into pieces. It is yummy! Glad your back :)

Jake dips them in milk (like a cookie) and My dad always slices big huge chunks of cheese and eats them like a sandwich. I like them with butter or peanut butter!

I like to eat my crackers with grated cheese (real cheese mind you, not the stuff you Americans squirt out of a can!) and sliced apple. Yum.
Get on post more!!
